We feature old and new celtic music as well as original vocal and instrumental arrangements ranging from ancient to modern times.
We are both Ottawa Valley "born and bred" and are based in Canada's Capital. With over twenty-five years of performance experience, and five generations of family history in our valley, each brings a unique set of talents to a collaboration that blends the old with the new.
We first played together in the seventies with the well known Ottawa folk group "The Celts". We then went our separate ways, both performing with different groups as well as solo. We joined forces in 1992 to deliver a well balanced vocal/instrumental combination.

The traditional tunes from our roots combine with new compositions to renew our heritage. Maritime flavours slip naturally into this mix with the not too subtle influence of our eastern cousins, "We all come from the same place, eh!"
Our extensive repertoire includes such well known favourites as: Wild Colonial Boy, Black Velvet Band, Loch Lomond, Sky Boat Song, Streets of London, I'se the Bye, The Unicorn, Farewell to Nova Scotia, Mary Mac, Four Strong Winds, as well as our own distinctive material plus commercial classics such as American Pie, Margaritaville, Fernando, 1814, etc.. Instrumentals range from the great traditional music of "The Chieftains" to Ottawa Valley tunes such as Maple Sugar and Saint Anne's Reel.
Our CD, "Bare Bones", includes 15 tracks with over 60 minutes of great music with songs like Whisky in the Jar, Leaving of Liverpool, The Night Pat Murphy Died, Shores of Americay, Ye Jacobites by Name, Gypsy Rover, I'se the Bye, Drunken Sailor plus our own songs and tunes!
